Vertical sense of volume. Manhattan site is surrounded with buildings and FDR drive. The site calls for building which would imply a sense of character and hierarchy.
This is a very interesting collage. I would also include some of the other images. When looking at these images of the forms - do you see the 3 parts of your original concept? It would be interesting to look at these shapes as they sit on the site. The site is a long rectangular shape.
